GTCI's Documentation Development Approach

GTCI provides cost-effective documentation development and delivery to our customers. One method in which we offer competitive cost savings to our customers is by performing development and/or delivery projects at their locations using their existing development tools. But we can also provide development services at our facilities using customer and/or GTCI-supplied tools.

GTCI supports industry-standard tools, such as FrameMaker, Epic, Web Works and Authorit as well as many other authoring and delivery tools. GTCI’s experienced staff of developers are trained to use all these industry-standard tools, thereby reducing your development costs.

GTCI provides experienced project managers and project leads which provide immediate customer support on project development and delivery issues. Our experienced IT staff supports all on-line document and delivery tools. We track the delivery using our customized program managements tools to ensure that all projects adhere to GTCI standards and quality guidelines.

The GTCI Toolbox

GTCI utilizes industry-standard XML authoring tools such as Epic Editor and Authorit to develop and deliver customer documentation.

We also work with standard publishing software such as FrameMaker, FrameLink, Web Works, Word, Publisher, RoboHelp, Visio and Photoshop.

Our professional IT services and support staff provide full service technical support to our Information Developers for all software and hardware tools.

Documentation Standards

GTCI adheres to industry-standard documentation development standards and processes. Our technical editing staff provides published standards and processes, as well as training to the development staff.

Our quality guidelines are adhered to through our editing staff which perform high-level edits on all documentation products, maintain ISO-type documentation processes and procedures, maintain quality metrics, and provide on-going quality training for the technical staff.

GTCI provides boilerplate document structures to aid in generating consistent, easy-to-read standard documentation. We also have the capability to adapt structure and format to fit any customer requirements.
